List context
What is an absentee owner?
An absentee owner list starts with properties where the owner receives mail somewhere other than the property itself. That often points to rentals, second homes, inherited property, investor-owned homes, or owners who moved away.
Use the absentee-owner signal as a starting point, then narrow the list by market, equity, value, sale timing, vacancy, tax, mortgage, and property type before doing outreach or enrichment.
Ways to narrow the list
Start with the list type, then tighten it around the market and owner profile you care about. These are the filters people usually add before creating a file.
- Mailing address differs from the property address
- Out-of-state or far-away owner mailing address
- Estimated equity, value, and mortgage count
- Last sale date, vacancy, tax, and property type
Starter filters applied
These filters are applied when the list opens. You can remove them, change the geography, or add more owner and property filters before creating a file.

- Active
- Property type
- Single Family Home
